At an international convention of franchisees held this past week in Atlanta, Pak Mail Pittsburgh Crate & Ship won six awards including The President’s Award, All Star Team Award, and Highest Freight Sales Award. The awards were presented by Pak Mail Centers of America ‘s CEO, Alex Zai and COO Angela Gomez. photo 1 (2)Packed and shipped another couple of wonderful (and large) canvasses for local artist, Michael Lotenero (www.lotenero.com) going to The Marshall Gallery in Scottsdale, AZ. Michael’s work has been exhibited in galleries throughout the country including Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, Phoenix, Los Angeles, and New York. We pack, ship, and insure Michael’s pieces using different modes including motor freight and air freight.

A couple of Pittsburgh auction houses that we do extensive packing and shipping work for are having sales this weekend. Dargate Auction Galleries (www.dargate.com) are having their first auction of the year from February 21st to February 23rd. The selection of items range from Persian rugs and Chinese porcelain to fine art and high-end lighting. Concept Art Gallery (www.conceptgallery.com) usher in 2014 with an auction on February 22nd with an extensive selection from three prominent area consignors: Nachum Golan, Gil Walsh, and Jane Roesch. Both auctions houses cater to out-of-town clients  across the USA and  around the world and we help by providing packing and shipping, crating and freighting, and full-value shipping insurance services.

Picked-up, packed, and shipped another Dream Table Top, an interactive children’s teaching tool developed by a Pittsburgh company, Digital Dream Labs (www.digitaldreamlabs.com and on Twitter @DigitalDreamLab. We previously shipped one of these units to The Children’s Museum of Houston and this one went to the McKenna Children’s Museum in New Braunfels, TX.
