This company offers excellent customer service, from providing cost estimates, packing and shipping. All of this was done on a rush basis, to quickly move antique furniture and very fragile china and artworks from Pennsylvania to Los Angeles. I made all of the arranges long distance as well--never leaving California! Everything arrived in perfect condition. There were no mysteries, nothing to worry about. Mike Macdonald handled everything reliably with top notch professionalism and politeness. I will certainly use this company again when the opportunity arises.

I just got my shipment of family heirlooms from Pak Mail Pittsburgh. Mike and his crew were excellent, efficient, convenient, and a complete pleasure to deal with. Better than that all my treasures arrived on time and in perfect shape, down to the last goblet and wedgewood platter! I highly recommend this outfit if you have anything to ship that you care about!

These guys are awesome. I live in Las Vegas, and needed a bunch of stuff of all descriptions shipped out from my folks basement in Pittsburgh. I have an absolutely crazy traveling schedule, and my folks schedule is complicated as well. Also, I didn't want my folks to have to pick up the heavy objects and spend lots of their valuable time packing up my stuff. Pak Mail was able to help out in every way - they worked around our schedules, and when the time was right on both ends, were able to jump on it right away. Their crew came over and packed everything up, my folks didn't have to do a thing. It was shipped promptly, arrived on time, everything was packed great and in good condition, and it was unloaded on my end. Plus, they have great customer service and were a pleasure to deal with through phone and email. I'll use them again, and recommend them to all.

Pak Mail Pittsburgh did a great job on my move from pittsburgh to houston for a very competitive price! The delivery time was very quick. Great customer service (Ana who worked on my move was always available and extremely helpful) I would recommend them without a hesitation!!!

I am an international student who was moving back to my home country. I was not very familiar with the whole shipping procedure, and had some unhelpful conversations with people in other moving companies. Eventually, I found Pak Mail and was in contact. The staff was very helpful and nice. It made the entire move fairly hassle-free. It was great!

I purchased a large item (250 lbs) on eBay that was located in Mike's area and I needed it shipped approximately 1000 miles to me. I got prices from well known major providers and several unknown movers and they were all extremely expensive. I was becomming concerned that I could not afford to ship the item I had purchased.

I found Pak Mail by chance doing an internet search and called, not expecting anything different. Mike came back with an extremely good price. I checked this reference page and decided to give him the project. He was professional, prompt, communicated with me frequently, picked up the item at the seller's location, packed and shipped it, and when I received the shipment, was extremely impressed with how thoroughly he had packed and secured my item to protect it during shipment. If I ever find myself needing a shipment from Mike's area again, I will only need to make one call. He has my 100% endorsement.

We just shipped my grandfather's old, old rocking chair from Waynesburg to California. It was obvious they took great care in crating the chair and it arrived in excellent condition. A great service.

I was trying to find a suitable business to move my antique gun cabinet built by my grandfather from PA to my aunt in New Mexico. The staff was very professional and friendly, and even came with a truck to pick it up for me. If I ever need to ship something across the country, I won't hesitate to go back.

I am an out of state college student who was trying to ship some of my bedroom furniture from the 412 to my new apartment in Virginia. I was frustrated talking to some of the other moving companies in the Pittsburgh area due to some minimum required shipping weights. Pakmail was recommended to me because they specialize in "mini moves". I'm not big on writing online reviews, but both managers were very professional, and quickly crated and shipped my bed and dresser. Next time I need to move anything too big for my car from home to school, I will certainly be back to Pakmail!

Finally, I have found a thoroughly professional business with thoroughly helpful and delightful staff. Ana and Mike, the owners of Pak Mail in Pittsburgh, PA spared no effort to ship my packages to family members living in New Zealand and New York. They picked the shipments up from our home and understood immediately the “priceless” value of hand crocheted snowflakes made by Grammy long ago. One item was a large photograph that had to be carefully wrapped for shipping and it now hangs in a Manhattan apartment without a scratch. Throughout the process, we were kept completely informed by e mail and were delighted to have our questions answered before we asked. We are so lucky to have this professional and capable duo in our area for our shipping needs. I would recommend Pak Mail Pittsburgh without reservations to anyone and plan to use them again and again!

We needed to move an antique china cabinet from Pittsburgh to Seattle and we were referred to Pak Mail by a moving company who was going to charge us based on a 1,500 lb minimum. I was able to send Mike photographs and measurements so he could put together a quote which was helpful since we live in Seattle. He personally came out and met my wife for the pick up in Pittsburgh.
The concern was that the windows and doors on the cabinet were made of glass. To say that they built a bullet proof crate is an understatement. I have been in the distribution business for 18 years and I haven's seen such thorough packaging.
I would enthusiastically recommend Pak Mail in Pittsburgh.

I live out of state, and Mike went the extra mile to make sure that my items were taken care of and shipped extremely securely. He even followed up to make sure everything was to my liking. Between the personal care and the quality of the work, I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again -- or refer them -- if I need anything shipped from Pittsburgh.

I have never dealt with a more helpful, honest, friendly and professional company in my decades of doing business, domestically and internationally, and particularly in the recent years of bidding online at auctions across the other side of the world.

I live in Sydney, Australia...way Downunder, and committing to buy something at an American auction house is always fraught with apprehension because of the enormous costs of packing and shipping, which makes most purchases a total waste of money.

In this instance the goods were large, heavy bulky items but fragile as well and it seemed like a complete pipe dream to even contemplate bidding. I contacted all the contractors recommended by Dargate Auctions, some didn't even answer..all the rest reassured me that i was insane.

THEN, I received an estimate from Pak Mail Pittsburgh which convinced me there was a God afterall.

From there Mike MacDonald, the owner, went to no end of trouble to iron out dozens of details, looking for cheaper and better ways to ship to Australia, and eventually came up with a price that included hours of free time, [whilst fighting off the inclement Winter weather] picking up and inspecting the goods for me prior to the auction,and then picking it all up and delivering it all carefully crated to New Jersey to the shipping company for delivery to me in Sydney.

During this entire process, we maintained a constant, humorous email exchange so that all the while it was nothing but a pleasure doing business together.

These people should be awarded as the Business of the Year, Knighted by Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth, and made an Honorary Aussie with Perpetual Swimming rights at Bondi Beach whenever he visits Australia. WELL DONE MIKE...

I had a very pleasant experience with Pak Mail Pittsburg when searching to ship a Sony G90 Home Theater Projector to Wisconsin. This a a very heavy and fragile device that is to large and heavy for anything but common carrier truck freight. Not knowing anyone to help in Pittsburg with picking up this item, packing it for truck freight and making sure the whole process went smooth... I also forgot to mention this was the week before Christmas that this needed to be done. My new found friends at Pak Mail did a fabulous job and at a very fair price. The projector made it to Wisconsin safe and sound with no fuss or hassles. Pak Mail clearly demonstrated they can provide exactly what was needed even with unusual and very challenging requirements that were presented in this case. If you have needs to ship anything in the Pittsburg area, Your first call should be to my new friends at PakMail!

I had to mail some food from PA to UT. They were extremely helpful all along the way from providing me with various shipping options and estimates to helping with shipping materials. I would definitely use Pak Mail again for any and all personal or business shipping needs.

Shipped a large antique tv/phono/radio unit to Fla. Pak Mail took care of it all. No problems. Unit arrived in a timely manner and in good condition. Would use Pak Mail again. The service in a word was "perfect".

Pak Mail provided me with outstanding service -- picking up a large and unwieldly package, creating a custom crate and arranage to ship it to me via motor freight. All of this sight unseen (I live in DC) and with ample updates via email. Great service. I highly recommend them.

I am from Argentina and i bought some items at auction via internet. It was ver easy to arrange delivery from my office in Bs As. I found very kind people at Pak Mail, excelent comunication with Mike and Ana. They picked up my goods and delivered them safe to my place.They took care of everything for a very resaonable price. Many options for delivery, they will advice which one is the best in each case. I recieved quote for my delivery very soon and was very well detailed. I recomend Pak Mail.
